wetherholdIt has been a busy month for Salisbury High School media/English teacher Kelly Wetherhold, who was recently recognized as both a Keystone Technology Innovator and a 2016 PBS LearningMedia Digital Innovator.

Mr. Wetherhold was among a select group of 45 teachers across Pennsylvania to be named as a PBS LearningMedia Digital Innovators. This distinction recognizes:

  • K-12 educators with a passion for using digital technology and media.

  • Active sharers of content and ideas through social media.
  • PBS Education ambassadors who embrace life-long learning, collaboration and recognizes the power technology has to inspire students. (http://pbslm-marketing.lunchbox.pbs.org)

The Keystone Technology Innovators program recognizes similar qualities in educators. KTI identifies, invites, and supports teachers who use technology to transform education and inspire students. Mr. Wetherhold is the latest in a line of SHS teachers to be recognized by the KTI program. Past SHS honorees have included Laura Dos Santos (Spanish / biology), Jennifer Brinson (social studies), and Robin Burns (library / media specialist).
