Changes in Food Service/Child Nutrition for 2017-18!

Salisbury Township School District is pleased to partner with Southwest Foodservice Excellence for our food service and child nutrition needs beginning with the 2017-18 school year! SFE is the fastest growing food service management company in the country, specializing exclusively in K-12 child nutrition. We look forward to our students and staff benefiting from a team whose complete focus is putting “Child Nutrition First.”

SFE is excited to join our community and is committed to working with our current child nutrition staff on the well-being of every student and staff member. SFE’s president, Monty Staggs, is himself a graduate of Salisbury, an award-winning Chef and the leader of SFE’s Culinary Team. SFE and the child nutrition staff are committed to providing excellent food quality, variety, and revolutionary menus. Students and staff will be able to enjoy salad bars that contain fresh fruits and vegetables, made-from-scratch meals, outdoor grills, and interactive nutrition education programs to address health literacy as a component of our recently adopted Profile of a Graduate. In addition to lunch, breakfast will be served in each school building.
