#STSDLearns – Salisbury Sharing Learning : Snapshots of Learning

by Randy Ziegenfuss and Lynn Fuini-Hetten on April 19, 2015

#STSDLearnsIn early March, Salisbury hosted (and blogged about) an Apple Distinguished Program site visit. These site visits are always a learning experience for our guests and our school community because the event is a powerful opportunity to share stories of teaching and learning. After the event we asked ourselves the question: How do we provide our students and teachers more opportunities to share their work? In today’s technology-rich, networked world, sharing and connecting is easier than ever and can lead to even greater learning.

Inspired by the #Learn365 Project and the idea of educators coming together to share the learning that happens in classrooms and schools everyday, Salisbury presents the Salisbury Sharing Learning Project – #STSDLearns. Starting May 1, visit our Facebook page every school day to view a spotlight example of learning in our schools. Posts will also be shared on Twitter using the hashtag #STSDLearns. We encourage all STSD faculty and staff to share tweets which demonstrate learning and tag them with #STSDLearns. We hope that you will engage with us over this work on both Facebook and Twitter. More information on this special project as we get closer to May 1!
